The start of my journey has been wrought with trials and tribulations. But I have been learning and growing alongside my plants. This journey is leading me to make some of my own seed. Meant for the desert in my specific conditions. This here is a blue resin male From riot seeds (first)
And my 3 Kings from an undisclosed friend of mine a few years ago.(second)
These are the first two subjects. The goal is learn to clone and start getting some cuttings from the mother 3K and pollinate one with this bad boi.
I was also thinking about what else this male would smell good with. May have to store some pollen aswell. Learning is fun!

I'm here excited to unveil my happenings in my indoor space.
The 3 kings was pulled to the kitchen and cleaned up a bunch. I forgot a before pic but here's an after
A buddy of mine from across the sands was able to donate his cloning supplies to the cause. I'm in a bit of financial tight spot last year or so. But I'm slowly grinding to get my stuff back up to snuff.
I took off alot of growth that was seemingly not helping. Alot of crazy weak branches going weird directions after the reveg. So I started structuring a bit so I can give her the 7-10 days recovery while my clones root.
I was able to take 30 3 kings cuttings and took a couple off the male Blue Resin for emergency purposes.
(Advice on Rockwood and clonex would be appreciated)
I did put another light there before this picture (I was also getting ready to take those green onion outside if your curiou, and drying honeydew melon seeds) things have been moved out.
I'm going to be updating the zaza cup here soon. I'm going to put the plant outside soon. Start acclimating it, should be fun. :)
I will have an second update with more pictures on the discord after dinner.
Ps. I had a much nicer update written up but my PC keeps overheating in this weather even at night so I keep losing my progress š
Update on the 3kings
Some fresh growth after the cutting back of the 3k. She's still struggling a bit but getting there.
How's the 3K doing?
Were you able to get any clones to work?
Learning is the Spice of Life! Always keep learning and improving! Everything looks awesome Pengu, excited to see what happens with those clones and that big Male plant!
High there Pengu ~ Wow... What an awesome start. I know everyone talks smack about the blurple lights and other things they don't understand but let me emphasize one fact:
it's not about where you're at it's about where you're headed. I can see lots of good things coming from here and am very glad you decided to share with us, some of these adventures you are taking on.
I think we've discussed in the server, the cause for red streaks and genetic expression so let's not be redundant here as that male pictured above is looking very healthy. For anyone that might come across the post in the future; red streaks and stems can be stress indications either lacking nutrition in the PK area or locking out of Cal/MG - and also it happens more-so under far red lighting than blue ime.
"In particular, some of the early signs of a phosphorous deficiency include red and purple stems, followed by brown, dried out leaves. Magnesium deficiencies, on the other hand, tend to cause petioles (the stalks attaching a leaf to a stem) to turn red."
